Default one for CC, Eva with her uncle

I kind of liked how this turned out...my brother has a neat color of eyes....and the sun was setting so the light was nice....I know I got too much glasses glare with Eva and I "chopped" her fingers....but is there anything else I should know to improve this one? Is their skin too red/magenta?

manual, no flash, 1/250, F/5, ISO 800 (not sure why I had ISO that high, maybe it was unchanged from my indoor pics earlier that day)

p.s. this is a cropped version of the original...no other PP except resize & sharpen. I did get his whole head in the original photo.

Amy, you're right, he does have neat eyes! But yes, definitely too much red/magenta in their skin (and you can see it in her shirt and the whites of his eyes). Part of that is just because of the time of day, sunset does that to people. But they still need to be toned down some. And didn't Steph post tips on how to fix the glasses glare in PP?

Thanks Gwen! Yes I have a trick that worked last time for fixing glasses glare...just haven't done it here yet. I figured I'd work on everything at once

His eyes are a kind of hazel/green/gray with some small copper streaks. He says they change sometimes.

OK here is an edit where I attempted to fix the redness and also reduce Eva's glasses glare; the glare fix was a lot trickier this time for some reason, than the first time I did it (on a different pic).

Is this color fix better? LOL

I don't know how I missed this post. I think you did a great job fixing the glare. That WOULD be tricky! The redness is gone too! Well done!

Amazing work on fixing the glare! The skin tones look much better in your second edit.

Thank you both! I'm glad to hear it! With the glare reduction, I think it looks ok here in the small version but if I were to, say, print a large print of this, it might look wonky LOL

Oh also, which crop is better?
