One for CC (JMK)

This picture (my new siggy) basically sums up my kids personality, very serious in front of the camera and he is only two. I was really trying to practice shooting in full sun. How did I do? Are the shadows too harsh? I didn't try to shoot with him facing the sun, because I'd figure that he would never look at me. Here it is.

Exposure: 0.001 sec (1/1000)
Aperture: f/3.2
Focal Length: 70 mm
Exposure: -0.20
ISO Speed: 100

again, I'm not qualified to give great CC, but I actually like the shadows! I love his expression!

I think you did the best possible with that lighting situation. It's so tough to shoot like that. And I just love that face! I get that one a lot, too LOL.

I think the shadows are fine, and I agree- you did GREAT with full sun!

I think it looks great! Shadows are not too harsh at all. Did you use fill flash at all?

what a face!

I shot in light like that when I did the ILP GTG on Sunday ... and then I used someone's OCF setup and it totally got rid of the shadows on the side of the face, very cool. so that's the first thing I thought of when I looked at this. but really, the shadows are natural (given where the sun is) and not harsh.
