I saw this little stream from my car today and had to pull over. I found a near by branch on the ground and got some string from my trunk to make a fishing pole (I told you I was a dork) If you look close you can see the string but I wish you could see it better. This is sooc since my editing program is on another computer.
I had people looking at me like I was crazy as I changed him outside and this spot was right along the side of the road. Oh, and I had to straddle the stream 5 months pregnant lol maybe that's why they were looking at me.

no c&c from me, but i love that picture!!Can't wait to see it pp
Tia, you are so funny! You not only did crazy things scrapping, but now you are making me giggle with photography!![]()
This is an adorable shot. LOVE the barefoot and overalls. I did Randy in overalls the other day, but there was too much cow poop around to go barefoot!![]()
It is direct sunlight, so it's a bit harsh, but in the end, it is all about what YOU think of the pic! LOVE the idea!
Great job with the settings! Could you try a closer crop?
your ap probably should have been 4.5-5.6 on this to get better focus. but it's adorable, and it might be cute with a b&w with selective color on his overalls. it's definitely a timeless photo.
I hope you don't mind, but I had a quick play (it's private, but I can take it down any time you like):
I think for full sun, you did really well (especially considering straddling the stream)! Full sun washes out even olive skin ... just think how much worse it would be with pale skin. As for skin tones, with olive complected subjects, you will have to do a bit more tweaking. I find that I am constantly trying to find the right balance for my boys (both of whom are relatively dark skinned).
This is a REALLY sweet shot! Good on you for getting out there and taking advantage of the environment -regardless of time of day!
Best,
