Although I can't take any credit!
The photos are by SarahLaneStudios. com and the template is WHCC. I asked Sarah (who happens to have gone to high school with DH!) if she would consider mentoring me. I wrote a long email to explain how I would be of help to her for free. That I am looking into workshops and learning on my own also, and that we're moving towns this summer so taking clients wouldn't be a problem in future when I actually am ready to do this. I was debating a few days if I should send it, but one night and a nice glass of wine later, I sent it. We'll see, we've only been corresponding via email, but I meet her to pick up some pictures tomorrow!
what a FANTASTIC card! You have such a beautiful family!
Be sure and kup on the mentor possibilities!
I like the layout and colors. It looks great!
I hope you hear back soon. I'm sure it would be a great learning experience!

Awesome pics and card!
I've considered asking a local photographer who did our maternity/newborn shots for mentorship as well. I think he would be willing...it only makes sense to me that it could be a help to have someone else there to catch the shots, which I would provide for free. But like you, I haven't yet gotten up the nerve! Now it's sort of a lost cause, as I'm deploying to Iraq in less than a month, and my husband will be moved to Arizona by the time I get back. I'm looking forward to the move, photog wise, though, and hope to find a fun photographer to work with there!
She said yes!!! I'm so excited. She said she was nervous because in her past job, she was overwhelmed and brought in help, who then left and took some potential clients when she started her own business. But, she knows we're moving and have already sold our house! She is going to be such a help though, we were talking forever and I think it'll work out well.
