Default Photo Storage | Raw v Jpg

For those of you that shoot in RAW - do you save jpg and RAW files for all pictures you take?

I ONLY take pictures of my kids (and nieces/nephews) but I need to delete some stuff. I've got a decent-sized external hard drive, but it won't hold everything indefinitely.

Just curious what you save vs delete!!

I'm struggling with that as well. I need to get rid of some stuff. I shoot in raw + jpeg, so I have doubles of everything. Once I get up the courage, I'm thinking about just deleting the jpeg's and keeping the raw files.

I delete the RAW file of any image that I can't imagine I'd print for the walls.

That's a good way to think about it, Amber.

That's what I do also... Shoot RAW, then convert only the ones I edit to JPEG... Then delete non-keepers (theoretically, anyway... I need to do some clean-up).
