Default Photoshop CS4 Extended Windows Full Version

So I did a search on ebay for CS4 and there's a TON of listings for Photoshop CS4 Extended Windows Full Version for under $200. I feel skeptical since it retails for so much more. And I don't know the deal of Extended vs the regular. I mean, what I read is that it adds 3D motion and some other stuff that I'm sure I won't need. But I just wanted to know if you think I should jump on getting this.

Be very careful! It is possible to get a legit copy but a lot of them are pirated with fake serial numbers. I got a real copy of CS2 from Ebay but it took a look of researching different sellers. One thing I would look for is lots of feedback and read the buyers comments (it will also tell you what item they bought). I found a few that hadn't sold much and I was very leary so I wrote the seller and asked if it was indeed a full version that I would be able to register with Adobe. I had probably 5 different sellers that did not respond. That pretty much confirmed to me that they were not legit. Good luck!

it's also possible to get a student copy for cheap so it depends on what you want it for. I can get legit copies at about 80% off b/c of where I work but BIL needs a version he can use to sell things he does it in so I wasn't able to take advantage of that

I think ebay is a great source to buy things but you just have to do your research. Look into different sellers, contact them via email to ask questions about the product, read feedback, etc.
Just make sure it's a legit copy that can be registered with Adobe and you'll be fine! Good luck, I hope you find what you're looking for!

P.S A lot of the stuff in the extended version of CS4 isn't anything photographers would use...it's more for graphic designers.

I have seen people selling these on eBay and the sellers only have a little feedback. These people will take your money and not send you anything in return. I have learned that when it comes to eBay, if it sounds too good to be true, then it usually is.
