    Default plexiglass

I'm going to attempt my first cake smash this sunday afternoon on a friend's kid, and would love to know what size plexi I should invest in. Also, I was just planning on taking it in front of a plain, tan wall which is sitting on tan carpeting. Does plexi show what's underneath? Should I maybe go to Joanne's and invest in some fabric instead?
Thanks for any help you can give me!

I have a plexiglass. Size is 5x4. I haven't really used it for anything yet tho.

My friend is a photographer and she did a 6month old using plexiglass. It was so cute cause she shot him from behind and you could see the reflection of his little bum. So cute I say go for the plexiglass.

plexi totally shows what's under it. I get wrinkles under mine (since I use fabric backdrops) and it's so frustrating!

if you can get 3'x4', that's ideal.
