Product Photography

An ex-neighbor is trying out some new stuff in her Etsy store and has asked me to take photos for her. She's trying to get into the photography prop business, so I've got some newborn, baby, and toddler photoshoots coming up to photograph her products. This is the first set. I will also be getting photos of these on a 6 month old. I think she's very creative and I hope she'll get some good business from this.

What do you like about these? What can I do to make these better (photos not product)????

1. Giraffe
Hat 01 1W

2. Unicorn
Hat 03 1W

3. Elephant
Hat 04 1W

4. Lion
Hat 02 1W

5. Pumpkin
Hat 05 1W

6. Pear
Hat 06 1W

Um, wow! Those are very...creative...Kinda reminds me of the guy on America's Got Talent that made the animal hats - Hannibal Means.
The photos look great, but of course will be even better with cute little faces in them :).
The only thing is on the first one, I couldn't tell what it was at first because of the way the head bump things (sorry don't know the technical term) are pointing. I couldn't tell that they were sticking up because they are kind of pointed to the camera, making them look flat.
Does that make sense at all :P??
Other than that, great photos, the seller should be pleased ^_^

Sara, thanks for the feedback!

Yeah, I'm going to redo the Giraffe and Elephant. I need to get a better angle of the ears and horns on the Giraffe and the Elephant just kind of blends into the background. Gonna have to get creative with those Smile

ITA, if they were actually on some newborns, people would be DYING to be the first/original photog with those props!
