Project 365 ideas?

I'm seriously running out of ideas for this. I mean, I love taking photos of my kids but I want to do other stuff as well and I don't have all that many props and cool looking things. I can't always go outside either. It's horrible out there and nothing much to take a photo of since I live way the heck out here. Not much is around really. Is there like a book I could buy with ideas? I think I'm going to buy a creative photography book that might help a bit. But if any of you have any ideas you can post them here if you'd like Smile Maybe it can help others as well.

Did you see this thread on the Scrapbooking Board?

http://www.pregnancy.org/bulletinboards/showthread.php?t=645540

maybe if you went in search of pics that would fit those scrapbook page ideas, it would help you find other things to photograph?

Just thinking out loud.

hope you get some good suggestions!

That's a neat idea page for scrapbooking Smile I saved that for later! I could use some of those later on! I should probably get back into scrapbooking soon too. I kinda miss it!

I have an idea. The alphabet. Well, take a picture a day of something that starts with the letters of the alphabet. Now THAT would be a challenge for me. Smile

I am so with you on this! I'm only on day 18 and feel so stuck already!
I've just been taking pictures mostly of things around the house, but I'm quickly running out of things.
I like to just browse on Flickr, look at different pictures, hope for some inspiration. Smile

I like the Alphabet idea!

I saw this thread posted on a 365 group I post to http://www.flickr.com/groups/project_365/discuss/72157605564913521/.

Here's a link to my 2010 365, feel free to try out anything from there if it takes your fancy, I probably only got the idea from somewhere else anyway, lol! http://www.flickr.com/photos/madhouseof5/sets/72157623050382575/

If I get stuck for inspiration this year, I plan on doing themes for some months, like B&W or trees or flowers or a certain colour. I like the letter of the alphabet idea.

Kerry...I MUST ask...How do you get your backgrounds up for your shots? I tried today and failed miserably Lol

The white backgrounds tend to be my softbox in the background (like todays photo). Sometimes it is window light through my white reflector. The black backgrounds are sometimes a black fleece or a large piece of card. Obviously this is for still life or smallish objects. For shots of the kids I still use fleece for black. For white, I have white seamless which I tape to the wall.

awesome! I just sent you a msg through flickr. I seriously have to find a way of doing backgrounds. I tried today but it didn't work out all that great. I can't get the backgrounds blurry enough and I'm trying not to put anymore holes in our walls since we'll be selling it soon. The blurry background only happens when it's very far away and I don't think I'd like to have a huge cardboard or something set up in my living room lol I would not be able to find something so big. And blending the background with the floor. ugh. I'll figure it out eventually. And none of the fleece blankets I've found around here are big enough for even one kid. I'm so frustrated. I want to move already! Bigger house, better options! Smile

I was browsing DPS, and I ran across an article with 53 ideas, going to use it as a guide when doing mine.
