Well, I ended up actually finding all the stuff I needed to do the "egg geode" project with Logan. We just started our second "batch" of these and should have enough to give to visiting friends by Sunday morning!

Oh how I love egg prep each year!

    Happy (hoppy) Easter everyone!

    GiGi, those are so cool!

I'm not sure I'll get any good Easter egg hunt pics, but here is the pride of my little "artiste" showing off one of his newly-decorated eggs:

And here's Nora intensely concentrating on the task:

And one of my favourite simple little eggs:

Here is my favourite shot from Easter Sunday:
    Easter with Church Friends

This was part of our house church's celebration of Easter. My friend on the left did an Easter egg hunt with a dozen numbered eggs, each containing a symbol of Jesus' death and resurrection, and then told the kids the Easter story using the symbols. It was beautiful and the kids loved it.

I didn't have Eva on Easter (she was with her daddy) but I gave her a basket and egg hunt on Good Friday. I didn't have my Canon out because the card was full. So I just snapped with my iPhone.

If anyone wants to try the egg geodes, here are the instructions:

Incredible Egg Geode at Steve Spangler Science

Logan still has a bunch of his displayed proudly on his desk. From what I understand, as long as you get them cleaned really well, they last for quite a long time.

    Best,
