Gigi for some reason I cannot see the b&w image? Love the snap picture with the viola. How long has he been playing? I was thinking of enrolling Brandon to get some violin lesson but I don't know if he has the attention span to sit thru one :-(

Logan started playing the viola this fall when he joined the 5th grade orchestra. I can honestly say I wish I had started him sooner as he loves it so very much. I had worried that we would have to force him to practice, but the opposite is true - we have to make sure he does the rest of his homework first b/c he would rather spend all afternoon/evening playing his viola. Once he learned to read music, he took off - he site reads better than I have ever dreamed of reading. And once he has played a piece, it is forever committed to memory. I wish I had those skills. I'm not saying he's some prodigy, because he is not, but he has fallen in love with the viola. And that sure makes my heart swell. I love the sound it makes and knowing that it brings him so much joy is the part that really gets to my heart.
I am looking at finding him someone to do private lessons over the summer so that he can keep progressing over the break.
Sorry to gush - I guess you can tell this is a favorite subject of mine. ;)

That's weird...I see both.
I only see the color image. I use Chrome, and I've had problems viewing some Flickr pics in it before. This is my first time converting darker skintones. There's a good deal of yellow in brown.

Well, I have been hoping to have more than this but with flu season all crazy, work has been nuts so for now...
I took these of my sisters family on Sunday. I'm getting a little directional light I think. B&W is probably my biggest struggle right now.
