Thought we might want to try something different for our Week 8 project, which is LOW LIGHT PHOTOGRAPHY
According to Wikepedia: Low light photography or Night photography refers to photographs taken outdoors between dusk and dawn. Night photographers generally have a choice between using artificial light and using a long exposure, exposing the scene for seconds, minutes, and even hours in order to give the film or digital sensor enough time to capture a usable image. With the progress of high-speed films, higher-sensitivity digital image sensors, wide-aperture lenses, and the ever-greater power of urban lights, night photography is increasingly possible using available light.
Here is a great website that gives you tips on low light photography here
Have fun EVERYONE! Can't wait to see what everyone comes up with.

Just chug-chug-chugging along.
Here is my first try. These are not outdoor photos. But I used artificial light coming from the laptop.

El, great shot! pretty dang good seeing u only used the laptop light. You should take the same shot with your son laying on his belly feet up and crossed watching a cartoon movie on the laptop. Although u might have to pause the movie to get the shot. Just an idea![]()
El! You're making this wait even harder! The closer it gets, and the more Mk III photos I see from you (especially the low light), the more I want that dang thing! This theme is coming a little too early for meI'll definitely see what I can do though. I have one idea in mind. Hopefully I can get out there and get it done this week.
Tialee thanks for that idea.
Stephanie - I know when you get your MK3 you'll do wonders with it. ISO was really high, I think it was at 12800... yikes... lol. But DH was such a sport about it.
I love your use of light, El! Really fun shot![]()

I got some really good (eerie) ones in the fall at night, but I've been so worn out lately even my regular photography has been falling behind.
