Pumpkin patches are so hard to shoot at. Tons of really really bright light, little shade, harsh shadows, and can you say COLOR CASTS!!!
Anyway, I tried to use some fill flash for a few of these, but for most I was lucky enough to get some decent open shade.
7. Fun story about this photo. I took this photo next to the "paparazzi pit" in the pumpkin patch (the pumpkin patch was in Beverly Hills...hence the need for a paparazzi pit!). Right behind me was the wall of the tent that covered the entrance to the patch. Nathan was in FULL SUN right there playing with the car, so I was bouncing the flash off the wall of the tent. The paparazzi guys said "you're a pro photographer aren't you?" I answered yes, cause...well, I guess I am. He said "I could tell the way you were working that flash". Made me feel pretty good. Guess I look like a pro! LOL
