Hi ladies I just have a question and was wondering if any of you could give me some advise?
There is a lady around my area who does wonderful photos. I have hired her 3 times before and all the photo's have turned out great. The first time she contacted me to use my daughter for a shoot for a baby promo. And if I liked the photos I could by the CD for $50 which I did. Then was a sailorette shoot with my daughter and my bestfriends daughter and we also did sibling picture after with my son and daughter. That shoot was $100. So I am just wondering if maybe this offer she has going now is a little pricey for what you get.
She is doing a mini shoot of 20 photos w/CD and copyright privileges and duplicates in various color styles at a wonderful park near by for my family of 4. She is charging $150. Is that too much?
Thanks any insight would be greatly appreciated!
I dont think that's pricey at all, if you getting good quality photo's. Actually i'm surprised she's able make it worth her while charging so little. There is a lot of time put into editing and such.
I sell 1 file a la carte for $75.
I agree 100%. I think that's reasonable. $50 for all of your sessions high quality images is very cheap.
Sounds really cheap to me. I don't see how she is paying her own time for that. I actually question what kind of quality you are getting for that price. Around here session fees alone start at $100 and to get copyrighted images of the whole session on a CD would cost a lot on top of that.

Totally agree...it's actually far too cheap.
My hubby ould KILL me if I gave away my time for that cheap...and I'm not that good.

way too cheap - if she's a pro, she's digging herself in to a hole! I charge $500 for that many high res files or $200 for low res, on top of the session fee.
