Hi ladies! I posted here moons ago and only a teeny tiny bit. You ladies are so wonderful, I feel inferior. I'm getting there. Hahaha!
My question is for those of you that use Canon. I'm looking to get a more 'pro' digi camera to do photo shoots. Currently, I use an Elan7 (love it!!) but film development is not really in the budget for as much as I'd like to do. What are the differences between RebelT3i and D series? What do YOU use and why? Thanks soooo much for anyone that can answer. It's like adopting a new pet; I wanna make sure I make the right choice.

Hi Marie. I have shot with a Canon XT, T1i, 50D, and 5D mark ii. All have been great cameras, but I can tell you if you shoot manual, having a pro-sumer camera (XXD) is much easier to control than a consumer level Rebel series. The changing of settings is made much easier and the top LCD is very useful. But, the advancement of the T series has been great. Their ISO capabilities are pretty darn good.
Just to throw it out there, I'm trying to sell my 50D right now. It is just the camera body (no lens). PM me for details if you're interested
I've got the 60D and I love it (though haven't had it out much lately due to illness). I went that way after a tonne of research. I wanted something I wouldn't outgrow quickly but that wouldn't completely overwhelm me.
40D here but upgrading soon.
side note to Jennifer ~ recent events have me thinking I may wait for the 1D after but I still don't know for sure 100% if I can wait another month or so for it... I'd love to see some more stuff from you and the 5D

You would definately get better FPS and focus system with the 1D. But, you could use the extra cash from buying a 5D and get some more glass Tough decision!
