I was on my way home from a photo shoot tonight and there was a large herd of wild horses out in the desert, not too far from the road. I have seen them out there before, but not usually this close and I never seem to have my camera. Tonight I pulled over and grabbed a few quick shots... lighting was terrible and I had my tammy on. They were too spread out to get the whole herd in a photos... there were probably around 50+ of them! But I am still happy for the captures

That is so cool, to think you can see whole wild herds of them in the desert, as you drive along, awesome. Great shots! The only wild horses I've seen are the Chincoteague/Assateague ponies (Virginia coastal island)
