random snaps (JMK)
I've been SICK for about a week now (sinus/double ear infection *sigh*). Unfortunately, this meant I was sick for Loli's b-day.
We had to keep things pretty low key, but I watned to share a few snaps anyway ....
he didn't want a cake, he wanted to do a "Brownie Challenge" (like on Man vs. Food). So I dragged myself out of bed and made him my special tripple chocolate brownies (a chocolate overdose if ever there was one), topped it w/ ice cream, whipped cream, and hot fudge sauce and then gave him a spoon. I thought his eyes would pop out of his head when he saw my giant brownie.
eventually, Dad had to help him out ("brownie" won the Loli vs. Brownie challenge)
and just a few more snaps b/c I feel like it ... we did some experiments the other day while studying surface tension and the effect of emulsifiers ... we had a BLAST and made a huge mess before the day was done.
I highly recommend the book Blast Lab ... it's got a LOT of fun things to occupy a kid on a rainy nasty day.

Looks like fun, and now I am DYING for a brownie topped with ice cream and cool whip! SHAME ON YOU!
Love the 3rd pic of him eating the brownie. Off to check out that book!

ouch I had no idea you were sick! I hope you feel better soon! Love your pics. He looks so happy eating that! And it looks so good too! I am wanting brownies now

I was this last night and didnt get a chance to comment. THAT BROWNIE LOOKS SO GOOD! lol! I think I gained ten pounds just looking at it and thinking about it all night! lol
