Default recent newborn and new props

I finished this shoot in record time 1.5hrs...baby slept like a charm and only woke once to eat and only pooped once and thankfully not on me! haha

    1. Pier one basket

    2. Another Pier 1 find..

    3. First time hanging a baby....took a few tries to get it right and i think this still needs to be tweaked...not as easy as it looks to get baby in there just right..

4.New hat from etsy..isn't it adorable?

    5.Stuck another baby in pot

    6.Oldie but a Goodie

these are great! I think if you're okay with it, I may steal the flower pot for my next little girl. That baby has just enough baby fat o get those adorable full lips. I love em'.

I was looking at those slings. it kills me that I can't figure out how to make one.

Okay, can I have you do me a HUGE favor? On the hat, could I have you please count the number of stitches on the very first row, there at the small end. Every time I've made mine, I think the tip is too big. So I am curious.

    Love them.

You are such a sweetie! OKay, the pink striped hat. I am gonna copy it quick and show you what to count. THANK YOU!!!

Let me know when you've seen this so I can remove the picture.
    Lots of hugs!
The big arrow is about where I need counted and the small arrow shows what to count as a dbl. crochet.

these are really lovely! that "pier 1 find" in the second one is interesting - what is it? I think it makes for a cool picture. that's great that you got it done so quickly, and that the baby was so cooperative. how old is she? and how many pictures did you take to get this great set?

do you shoot newborns at your place or do you go to the home? just curious. I am loving all of the newborn shots lately, and wish I had one to shoot.
