This was the fussiest baby Ive ever worked with! He was six weeks old. He was here for two hours, and I probably took pics for a total of 20 min? IDk. The mom was so nervous and her hubby decided to let her come by herself at the last minute. I felt so bad for her. My dh would have never done that, at least back then when ds was "new" lol Feel free to cc on anything you notice! you dont have to cc on them all, but I am very curious what your opinions are!
all settings were:
Camera: Nikon D300
Exposure: 0.008 sec (1/125)
Focal Length: 50 mm
ISO Speed: 500
6 weeks is such an awkward stage. You get weird faces and googly eyes.
My favorite is #5. I think #4 may need a bit more contrast.
I like the color shots best for some reason. The blue backdrop in #5 works wonderfully with the baby's reddish hair!

I like #3 and #5 best, love the fuzzy little head awwww but those are my favorite for color too.

For some reason the B&W looks reaaly bright on my screen. It could just be me.
I really like #4, but I agree about adding a bit more contrast to it.

Just chug-chug-chugging along.
good work on those, 6 weeks is not an easy age to photograph..
I do see some noise in these, could be from the ISO
Sorry to hear it was so hard. Poor Mom.
1- not too sure about what he's laying on.
2- looks better here. Like the close up version better.
3- like this one- great eyes
4- same as 3- like this one!
5- probably my fav. Maybe try to crop some of the white out.
#'s 4 and 5 are my favs of the group. #2 is nice as a b&w. Great job

the second is my favorite, but it's a bit on the bright side.
your light looks pretty good in these. wish the baby had been easier to photograph for you.
