Thread: recommendation on a holster bag for a 7d + 24-70L ?

I am finding that the combination of the canon 7d with my new 24-70L lens is a tad too big to be trusted in my current holster bag. I can get it in there, but it's too tight for me to feel good about it. I fear this will be the case with other bags I'm looking at on line. Also, I dont want something that is a ton bigger than my camera (meaning something that will hold a 70-200 or bigger). I have a million dollar crumpler that I use for all of my lenses and accessories but I really want a case that will fit JUST my camera with this lens on it; something that'd make it easily accessible so I'd be more willing to bring it to the zoo with me or something.

I'm looking for something under $50, so I was thinking this? But am not sure if it'd fit and the reviews aren't too helpful.

Hmm...not too much help here. I only have a little Rebel. I have the Crumpler 5 Million Dollar, and it works just right for my stuff right now. (Rebel XTi, 50mm 1.4, 18-55mm, 55-250mm)

I have something similar to what you have - I think mine is a lowepro top loader. I can fit a camera with the biggest lens I have, which is either the 16-35 mm or the 100 mm no problem.
