I just read that u can reverse ur lens to create macro images, anyone ever try this? I'm gonna try it tomorrow, hope it works!!
I read the same thing, and it's been on my to-do list, just haven't done it. Let us know how it goes!
This is one of the shots, my 8yo's eye
Do the threads fit both ways or do you just hold it in place? lol sorry if that's a dumb question. That is cool though!
I held it, it was pretty hard, but they do sell ring adapters for it. You have to do settings before u reverse it tho.
That's very cool! I'll have to check out ring adapters. What lens were you using for the shot?
That's pretty neat. I had read about this when I was looking into extension tubes. How in the world do you get your settings right? Do you just set them with the lens on and then reverse it without changing anything?
My 50mm 1.8
I metered off my son then bumped it up a bit more because I kept reading it needed to be brighter than normal, set it to f/4.5 then reversed the lens. I did it in RAW so I could make some adjustments, but it didn't really need any. Hand holding is hard though, alot I took had camera shake and I was so scared I was going to get dust in the body.
