Seamless paper

Where is the best place to buy it?
What is a reasonable price?
What size do I need?
What kind of stand do I "need"?
What else do I need to know?

I am new to this but I am going today to buy some:D so I thought I would tell you what I know. Not sure if Artist and display is just a WI store but that is the only local store near me that has it. I asked Amber the other day and she said B&H photo which is online. I think the 53'' runs about 38.00 but this is my first time buying it so not sure if that is a great price
The rolls I have been looking at come in 2 sizes 53''x12yards or 107''x12yards.
I bought my stand from ebay not sure what company but it was pretty cheap.

ARRRRRGH! I lost my rather long winded post (but maybe that's for the best).

I have the 107" seamless from b&h. The cost for the roll was only about $40, but the shipping costs nearly doubled that. So be aware if you have to order by mail.

I have a telescoping stand that complete disassembles and fits nicely in a bag in my closet. This is a must for me as I don't have any place I can leave it up. I know some folks have built stands out of pvc pipe. That's light weight and easy to find. Not sure how well it would handle the weight of the 107" roll.

HTH.

I can't comment on price as i'm in canada Smile

i have 3 rolls of seamless, all are 53". It serves it's purpose for me with 1-2 people. I struggle with 4 as it's not wide enough but have stretched the canvas in post and it worked out. I don't really want the bigger one as i take my seamless to other people's homes if do a session there. I got my stand on ebay as well, and it extends to about 7-8 feet or something.
I started out with Thunder Grey. versitile colour i think, and it looks nice too. Smile
