So I saw some self maternity portraits on ILP and I thought, hey, maybe I could do that... UM, no. Not that easy. I had no room in my house with my 50. I could not fit Rylan and I into the frame. I have no remote. It was not very bright out.. cloudy/rainy. Ugh, what a disappointment! I only got a one shot where we were both in the frame. I'm hoping we can try again with James here to help.
My setup was a screen door with a white curtain clipped up, and I was wearing some pieces of curtains, that I use to tie up the curtains that I clipped them off of... lol! I thought you guys might appreciate the trouble that went into this
I think the one you got is very sweet!
but you're right, it's VERY hard to do it without a remote!

AMAZING SHOT! and even more so knowing the trouble you went through to get it!
Very sweet though!
Wow, that is so, so beautiful. I love the mood it evokes -- a softness and tenderness that is very maternal. I think it was worth all the trouble just for this one shot!
