Thread: September Assignment: Beautifully Ugly

Following along the same lines as last month - looking at things in a different perspective - I thought this month we would try to find the beauty in things that are not normally considered pretty. Maybe it's not something that is truly ugly, but just mundane and overlooked.

Take a peek around your world and see what you might have been overlooking. Try to find that hidden gem in your world. And then share it here with us!

Grasshoppers are EVERYWHERE. This one allowed me take his/her photo! I think they are ugly, but well, he was kind pretty perched there letting me shoot him!

I'll have to try and think of something and try to enter one this time. But I just have to say that the first thing that came to my mind was to take a picture of my Lo's pee pee in their little potty.. lol I would NEVER really take a picture of that, but the thought made me smile.

I don't know if these quite fit. I'll look for more mundane things to add later

Though I think reptiles are beautiful, I do think they work with the theme.

I just think these are hideous, and not beautiful and interesting like the other shots, but it's all I've come up with for this month's challenge so far!

This is a weed, and a dead one at that. I think it's still beautiful.

Everyone is doing a great job, all beautiful. Tracy the spider is CREEPY, but the web is so beautiful.
