Several for CC

I'm hoping to be more active now that I'm getting a little extra time in my days!!!

These are just snapshots of mine that I need CC on. I'm struggling with this P&S of mine. I can't manipulate it very well and am impatiently waiting until I can buy my new camera!

ANYthing is welcome as far as CC. My feelings won't be hurt at all. I need all the help I can get. I probably have very thick mommy goggles!

Thanks ladies Smile

Nice series.

I am loving the autumn colours.

Did you convert to black and white using a program or camera settings? If its in camera, try to avoid doing this and do them on the computer.

Way to go on getting out there.... that I think, is probably the hardest thing to do when taking up photography as a hobby, actually taking the time to get out there and shoot!

Cazz

That being said I like the beach/reflection one and the little girl running.

No, I used just the basic editing on my macbook. I just got photoshop and have not edited anything yet. Too overwhelming...no idea where to start Smile

Thanks for the feedback!

I am envious of your fall colours Smile alot of trees around me are already bare. I also like you captures, # 1 & 2 are nice and sharp. I think i would try a tighter crop in both of them and maybe open the ap up in #1. #5 & 8 are just sweet. Smile Keep practicing and posting!

Cute series! On the first one, I would suggest moving them into the shade to avoid the sun spots on like across dad's chest. Having him take a few steps back and to the left would have helped with that. Very sweet moment, though. Smile
#7 is neat! Try to keep your shutter speed above 1/100. You probably could do this by upping your ISO, probably in your case with this one, to 400.
You're doing great!

Yes, I see that!! That bright spot on DH's chest is driving me nuts!!! It's so hard b/c I feel like I'm focusing on composition right now and everything else tends to go out the window!

Thanks for the tips!

I think you are doing great with your p&s! Your b&w's are a little flat, but I have NO room to talk, b/c I struggle with them a lot!

I will cc a few-

1) would like to see a tighter crop, while still keeping the fall colors. Great shot though!
2) Sweet picture. Love the shadows creating all the lines across the bridge.
5) LOVE this one. I adore beach shots and this one with the reflections is great.

Yeah, it's a basic switch to black and white. No idea how to really enhance them!

Thanks for the cc!! Smile

#1 has too much contrast for me. I'd lighten up the shadows.
#2 next time, crouch down and try to get that same shot at his eye level
