Ok so I really should have been cleaning but instead was editing some more pictures. I still have a few left here and there to edit. I am quite satisfied with these now. It was cloudy yesterday and I know cloudy days are a photographers best days to take pictures but it was a bit hard to get good exposure. I always overexpose by two marks because that is the sweet spot for me I've noticed. I think they were ok exposure wise, maybe a bit underexposed but because of all the white I didn't want to overexpose and blow them. I brightened them a bit in ACR. All I did in these was edit in ACR and little to no editing (colorwise, levels, etc.) in PS. I did however sharpen for web on all of them and added the frame and watermark. AND if you've read my other thread I had to edit out my daughters little chain because stupid me forgot about it so i took it out instead. But I am feeling good about these. And I just wanted to share. so here ya go!
well here is the one of me and my kids again.
I love this one! Even though his shoes were a bit big. I was going to buy proper shoes for his outfit but kids outgrow clothes and shoes so fast and they were like $30 a pair just to be used once? I don't think so. And they aren't smiling but I still love it. mommy goggles I guess Kids here get free soda and boller (sweet bread) on May 17th. They are pretty much spoiled and can have as much soda, hot dogs and ice cream they want this day
i know the colors might be a bit off. i'll change it later (if it needs changing?). i need to recalibrate soon.
Marching...or parade or whatever you want to call it. Here it is called Tog. we caught it just in time!
I bought his outfit a bit big hoping I can use it again next year =) it is a size 2. he still fits into 18 month clothing! and he's almost 2. he is a small boy
Thanks for looking!!!
p.s. I am actually a bit happy that I don't have to edit so much in PS anymore. I used to get frustrated at editing in PS. I do all editing in ACR and do minor tweaking in PS. yay!
These are great! Love the one of her standing in the road! My only CC would be to clone out the drain. Great shot though! Your son is adorable. My kids are on the small side too. Ruthie could fit into 18 months shorts at 3 years old!
thanks and good idea! i think i'll do that. i love the patch tool it makes taking things out of pictures soooo much easier! i do not use the clone tool anymore..hardly.
my son is on the small side...my daughter on the other hand...she is wearing 1 size bigger clothing. The 4 year old clothing doesn't fit her. She wears 5 and sometimes 6.
What great pictures!

They look so sweet in those outfits, like adorable dolls

You have some amazing shots!! What a neat celebration. I like the one of your DD with the flag, too. Can't wait to see your play with your patch tool. I REALLY need to learn that kind of stuff.

on #5, the marching pic, I actually took someones foot out on the far left side. it looked weird and i couldn't crop it out. i used the spot healing brush tool. so cool!
duh I meant spot healing brush on the above post .... i use the patch tool sometimes but i've been using the healing brush and spot healing brush on these.
Loida, these are so cool!!!!! love the outfits. I wish you had numbered the photos, only so I could say that #7 is my favorite. Just adore Jeanette's expression there.
