Default Skin tone (1 for CC)

Skin tone and I, we just don't get along lol and not being calibrated is, of course, adding onto this grudge. My son's skin is the one i have the most trouble with because it's so... weird... he tans easily and it looks awkward with his hair color and eye color, so i can never seem to get it right.
how does this look? please give me a hand here (or an eye lol)

    Hi Sophie!

I'm not calibrated either, but this edit looks good to me!

I like it and wish I could get skin tones anywhere in the ballpark!

I think his face looks good; if it were my pic, I would use a hue brush on the side of his hair where it has a green cast. Especially with blond hair, I like to remove those green casts you get when you're outside.

skin tones are my biggest grudge too i think! i could work on it for hours and they always seem 'off'. I struggle with my dh's too, he's so pale and gets red so easily sometimes i just want to turn every photo b&w lol

thank you SO much! i will be honest, i didnt even realize that side has a green cast, i am awful at seeing casts unless they are huge and just scream 'look at me'
i will fix that though thank you so much for your help

I agree about the green cast on the side of his head/face, other than that looks good on my end.

Just curious... How do you fix such a color cast? I'm still learning about PP and am using lightroom. I've had this in some of my own pictures, but don't really know how to fix it.
