    Default Snapshot a Day (02/10)

    Howdy everyone!

I hope you all had nice, relaxing weekends. I am once again in training this week and may be sporadic in my posting, but I hope to see lots of snaps from you guys to keep me motivated.

    Best,
    GiGi

Oh dear, hope your week isn't too busy/stressful, GiGi.

I was VERY disappointed this morning... I knew we were walking to a friend's (it's a stat holiday) for a play date, and all morning it was snowing so heavily, I was really, really looking forward to getting out there and taking a few shots I had in mind. Then we got out and it had all but stopped. Sooooo, I took some shots anyway, and had a bit of fun with this: first I added a snowfall overlay, and then used a snowflake brush to add a few large snowflakes, just for fun.

Tracy - I would NEVER have known that this wasn't taken IN the snow! I mean, I can tell the snowflake brush (which is really cool, btw), but the snow overlay looks absolutely true! Nice edit!

This is such a wonderful shot! I, too, would have never known that it wasn't real falling snow (aside from the snowflake brush ).
