Snapshot a Day (02/27)

Happy Thursday my dear friends! Here we are - just a day and a half away from our weekend.

Let's celebrate w/ some snaps! And today, I'll be joining in! I grabbed a quick shot before work & school this morning, so later today I'll get it off the camera to share.

Seeing your shots has really kept me smiling through what has turned into a tough week here at work. Thanks so very much!

Best,
GiGi

Yay for it being almost the weekend! It's been a rough week for me as well. We found out on Friday that Carson's teacher no longer works for the school with absolutely no explanation to the parents. They told the kids on Monday that "she went to another school." I don't buy that for one second with it being the middle of the school year. So I've had that weighing on my mind for the past week. They have a new teacher, though, and Carson loves her. The switch is definitely for the best, as I wasn't happy with her in the first place (but tried to make the best of it), but it still doesn't keep my mind from wandering to some dark places on reasons she would have left so suddenly.

So I'm hoping to get some shots of Hudson when he wakes up from his nap, to keep my mind off of it Smile

I can understand your concern, Steph. I hope the reasons turn out to be benign. And I can't wait to see the pics!

Hurry up weekend! I'm ready!

Here's a phone snap! Jackson is becoming so independent! This is him buckling his car seat straps on his own. He refuses to let me do it now. It sure does slow me down, but I'm so proud of him for wanting to do it himself!

Was a cold walk home from school today, so Natalie bundled up.

Wow, that's some snow, Amanda!

Steph, that's concerning. We had huge teacher issues with Nora at the start of the year, and it worked out great; but at the time it was very stressful. And she wasn't attached to her teacher when it all happened, unlike Carson. Sad

I LOVE the independence they get... so much easier, even if it does mean they're growing up. Mixed blessings, I suppose.

Looking forward to your shot, GiGi!

Super busy day here, just whipped home before the eye doctor to get the camera so I'd have something to share today. So here is Micah getting his eyes checked:

Tracy- I love that you capture those moments! I am too embarrassed to bring my camera in!
Steph- (((HUGS))) I understand your concern! I hope that they clear things up for you all soon.
Amanda- that gave me chills! I would NOT be able to handle that!

Here's my duo!

Sadie, to be honest I'm embarrassed too. But somehow this "snapshot a day" thing is challenging me to get a little out of my comfort zone and take my camera places I might not otherwise. It's a good thing in a way. The doctor was super friendly and so I just asked if he'd mind and he said no, not at all. Then a friend on FB said she took her camera into her kids' eye appointment last week too, so apparently other lunatics out there do this sort of thing too. Wink
