Snapshot a Day (03/20)

I never made it by the blue bonnet patch yesterday. Fingers crossed that today is the day.

They don't last very long so I'm anxious to get out there asap. Biggrin

If any of you guys have a snap for today, I hope you'll take a minute to share it with us here!

Best,

Oh that's too bad about the blue bonnets, GiGi! I would love to see them, we don't have them around here and I think they're so beautiful. Hope you can get to it today.

My brother is visiting and the kids LOVE their uncle Mark, so I snapped them playing this morning:

Did a google search on the Blue Bonnets, they are pretty, hope you can get some pictures to share. DH and I are flying out to Austin tomorrow, going on a trip with my Sister, maybe I'll be able to find some and take some snaps too. They look like purple snap dragons, which I LOVE!

I *did* get to stop today! On my lunch hour. I'll upload the pics this evening to share.

Amanda ... enjoy your trip to Austin! I *love* to go to Austin - so many fun things to do and see and the weather should be picture perfect for you! We're in the mid 70sF during the day and upper 40sF at night. Slight chance of sprinkles this weekend, but shouldn't be anything that lasts too long.

I'm about a 2 hour drive from Austin (to the east).

It's a Texas-thing to do pics in the bluebonnets each spring. Logan will have to endure his snaps this weekend probably.

I need a book, a blanket, and an afternoon on this hillside:

I could get on board with that plan, GiGi. A book, a blanket, and a hillside of blue bonnets? Oh yeah.

Gigi - Beautiful shot of the Bluebonnets, I didn't get a chance to take a picture but the ones in Austin weren't nearly as pretty.

Hope you enjoyed your trip to Austin anyway Amanda! The bluebonnets, in general, are not as thick this year - we've had a much harder winter than normal and they have suffered. You have to go south and west of Austin to see the really amazing fields of them (San Antonio and west, for example).

GiGi- oh how nice that sounds! If only we really could!
Tracy- what a capture! What a memory!
