Snapshot a Day (10/20)

What are you guys up to? Hope everyone can catch up after the weekend! I wanna see pics. Smile

Today we took the kids to a miniature train show. Terrrrrrrrible light in there for pics, but they had a great time. A lot of interactive displays this year, which was awesome fun for them. Here's Nora:

I saw the photos on FB and that place looked like a lot of fun! Having 2 boys, we had been all about trains for quite some time. They've kind of backed off of their love of trains at the moment, but still love to go on a train ride any chance they get. I just can't bring myself to get rid of the train table, since we have another little boy coming. But I do kind of look forward to the day I can free up that space in the toy room Wink

We played outside most of the day yesterday. I grabbed my camera for a little bit, but didn't pay attention to my settings very well for this one. I'm so mad at myself, though, cause this one captures their personalities so well. I have other's where I corrected it, but they weren't as perfect as this one expression wise, so I'm just going with it Wink

Steph, over-exposed or not, that is TOO cute! Love it!

Tracy - the pics from the mini train show are GREAT! I love this one of Nora - she looks so focused on that train.

Steph - I know what you mean about the train table! Logan was only into trains for a short while, but we used the table for a really long time as his "Lego work station" I was so happy when we finally gave that table to my nephews, it opened up the whole room when it was gone. Love this pic of the boys - over exposed and all! It's a REAL moment and those are worth holding no matter the technical issues. One day, you'll look back on this and those over exposed places will remind you of the fun, sunny day at the pumpkin patch with your oldest two and you won't worry about the rest. Smile

I'll have to come back later w/ my pic - still need to get them off the camera.

Best,
GiGi

OK. Here is my pic:

This family owns the school where we all take judo lessons. VERY sweet couple and the boys are so much like Logan - full of energy! Was a fun shoot and I learned a lot. Didn't get as many good shots as I wanted, but the conditions were very trying (mid day, bright sun, and WINDY). But I got a few that Sharli (the mom) loves and that is good enough for me (for now).

TFL,
GiGi

Steph- agreed, it's the moment that you capture sometimes that makes the pic, and this is a perfect example!
Tracy- Looks like a fun time! I too saw the pics on FB and loved them!
GiGi- GREAT shot! Love this one! I too want to see more!

Here's one from that morning. We had a gorgeous sunrise!
