Default Snapshot a Day (10/25) - AND FRIDAY FLASHBACK!

Happy Friday the 25th Everyone!!! Logan started off the day by reminding me that we are only 2 months away from the happiest day of the year (Christmas morning)! He's ready to break out the Christmas carols I think.

Anyway ... it's time for our snap of the day and for flash back Friday. Share 'em if you got 'em and have a wonderful day and a great weekend!

    Best,
    GiGi

I still have to get my photo off the camera for today, but here are some flashback shots from this week:

this 2 more from the family shoot I did last Sunday

and a couple from our time w/ the puppies on Saturday:
    Logan and his pup ("Kano")

I missed most of Logan's soccer game last Saturday due to work and Carlos doesn't do pictures, but he DID take the video camera. And he even managed (mostly) to catch Logan scoring the first goal of the game! The clip isn't really long if you want to take a look at it:

Again ... happy Friday everyone! We may get a chance to visit the pups again this weekend. and if so, you can BET I'll be taking my camera.

    Best,
    GiGi

    Hey there,

I got the kids out for a shopping trip for Christmas shoeboxes (Operation Christmas Child), did a quick collage. I know colour's a bit wonky on these shots, but this will be the only chance I have today to do the snapshot, so I'm posting it anyway!! :-O

As for FBF, there's not much I haven't shared yet, but here's a couple. Nora on the way to school... love that her backpack says "Flights of Colour" and it's such beautiful fall colour out there.

And DH and Micah at the train show last weekend, again terrible light, but I like seeing the two of them together:

Great images, GiGi!! Love that first one!!

It seems so early to think about Christmas, but really GiGi, you're right. It's not that far away! What a sweet thing for your kids to do, Tracy!

Just have one for now as my snapshot. I'll have to see if I can get the others posted soon!

I love all the pumpkin patch pics I'm seeing on FB and this one too. Sooo sad I missed Nora's field trip to the pumpkin patch.

Steph, it is early, but these shoeboxes are collected in November and distributed worldwide for Christmas, so they get done early. The kids took out money from their piggy banks to help pay for them (their idea) and we will be putting the shoeboxes together at church on Sunday.

Tracy - it is TOO FUNNY that Logan would bring up Christmas this morning and then you post this collage! I love that your kids are so involved in this activity. Logan always volunteers with us at some kind of service project over the holidays, but I would love if we had a specific thing we did like this every year.

Steph - Carson looks SO PROUD of his pumpkin! Love that smile!

    Here's mine:

Last year Logan decided he was too old for Halloween costumes (despite his dad and I both dressing up that day - LOL). He was sick though and that may have been part of it. ANYWAY ... one of his judo friends had a birthday party and she decided to do a costume party. Logan wanted a skeleton face - really, he wanted it to look like our sugar skulls and if I had had just a bit more time to plan (we found out about the party less than 24 hours before the party) make this would have turned out better. He loved it though. Especially his little skull corsage - Logan named him "Fred". This is the only snap I got and I love it!

Gigi - The puppy is ADORABLE!!!

Yesterday at the dog park I saw a 4 month old pup, he was bigger than Apollo (who is a mid-sized dog) O.o could you imagine? That dog is going to be a giant!

Tracy - It's so wonderful that are teaching your children with the shoebox program.
