Got paged at 4am, so I figured I would start the thread for today.
Happy Hump Day everyone!
4am??? GiGi! You poor thing!
Here's mine for today. We don't have our tree, but Micah and I did some other decorating today, including hanging the stockings.
Tracy- LOVE the stockings! Stockings are something I want to sew this year. I HATE ours.
Here's Miss Jingle Bells getting caught last night!
Yes, I made our stockings. I LOVE ours (Anthony and I share one with both our names on it, and pics of Mr. & Mrs. Claus, a male/female reindeer team, etc.) and Micah's, but I would really like to make Nora a different one. Maybe after Christmas I will be another kit. Hers just isn't nearly as cute.
Sadie ... I love seeing your Elf shots! All you guys seem to have a lot of fun w/ them. Wish I had done something like that when Logan was small.
Tracy ... I think it's great that you made them! They look beautiful. Personally, I could see me re-doing ours in years to come just b/c it's fun.
the other night, Logan had nightmares and we just couldn't get him to focus on anything positive so he could fall back asleep. Until I offered to take a special Christmas picture of him with Loki. I asked him to think about what he wanted to do. That gave him something fun on which to focus as he fell asleep.
Generally, Logan does NOT like to have his picture taken, so I really didn't expect him to go any further with it than thinking about it at bed time. But I was wrong! the next morning he told me his idea - he wanted their picture taken in front of the tree and he wanted Loki to wear antlers like a reindeer.
It took me a few days to find the antlers, but I finally did and this is one of the shots we managed to grab.
My intention is to print a few copies as a special Christmas card from Logan to his grandparents to go along w/ the family card (which I still need to get off my duff and get prepared *sigh*).
Oh, GiGi, you are so sweet! You found a great way to help Logan, and obviously he enjoyed putting thought into this, and you both ended up with a wonderful result!
GiGi- love this! Sorry to hear about his nightmares, but thankful he overcame them with sweet Loki! Dogs make things better! (((HUGS))) to you all! LOVE this new photo. Loki looks a bit worried! LOL!
