Come out, come out, wherever you are!!
Here are some flashback shots for now.
Taken by Carson. I should really get out my Rebel and let him play around with it. He says he wants to be a photographer.
What do you think Hudson thought about sitting in the grass for the first time?
Couldn't choose between b&w and color on this one.
Found this caterpillar outside. Here's the iPhone shot:
And the big camera shot (Kind of wishing for a macro right about now…):
I can't believe it's Friday. I was never so happily surprised... somehow Friday crept up on me, in my very fatigued state, and it is MOST welcome indeed.
Oh, how often I long for a macro lens, Steph!
That's a great shot of you and Hudson, Steph, I really like that. I love the huge smile from Jackson. And LOL about the grass, yes, I remember that with my kids. Nora hated grass!
I like the colour one I think, of Carson... but like I said the other day, I'm a colour girl about 95% of the time. Having said that, the B&W conversion of Hudson is beautiful!
Great caterpillar shots. We saw our first caterpillar last week, so I'll have to 'hunt me some'.
Here's a couple more of my niece. Not the 'artsy' newborns, just cute ones.
Couple of spring flowers...
And a couple of Micah at the playground. Bad light/processing in the first one, but I like it anyway.
Waiting for Nora to get out of school in the afternoon.
Gotta get back to work, so just a quick comment here.
Stephanie - Love the picture of Carson, I'd have difficulty picking which I like more too.
Thank you for the kind comments!
Those flowers are gorgeous, Tracy. And that one of Micah in the swing is awesome!
My snapshot for the day: Hudson with the doctor who delivered him. I never did get one after he was born, so I took the opportunity at my visit this morning
Aw, that's sweet, Steph! I never got shots of my kids with their doctors, sadly. I like the idea of having that!
Steph ... Carson has a very good eye! And I'll bet he would LOVE playing around w/ your old Rebel. I know Logan is much more willing to let me take HIS photo when I've let him be a photographer for a while as well. And well ... you saw the results of having him do those grade photos with me last week. You have so many lovely shots this week that it's hard to pick even a couple of favorites! I *adore* the shot of Carson next to the tree - both in color and b&w! he Looks so grown up.
Tracy ... your new niece is just a DOLL! Such a smiley little princess! I really love that 2nd flower shot. It looks like it's opening right up to heaven. And Micah looks like he was having a blast waiting for Nora.
AWWW Steph! Look at how BIG Hudson is getting! MAKE HIM STOP!
I didn't get out much w/ my camera this week. It's just been nuts around here. But I did get out in the yard the other evening for these:
(can you tell which dog will let me take more pics of him??? Tori *rarely* lets me get a picture, but Loki will sit pretty nicely for me most of the time - unless ... SQUIRREL! )
and this was dinner the other night:
sausage stuffed pears was a bit of a risk (as I am the only one in my family that likes pears) but this was AWESOME! I'll definitely be making it again! I just need to pick up more pears.
After a 2 week rest, Logan has soccer again this weekend - a double header even - so I should have more pics this next week! Also, DH is buying a new guitar tonight, so I should have that to shoot as well.
Hope you all have a great weekend!
Sausage-stuffed pears sound and look amazing!
And great dog shots, those are so full of character and fun, GiGi!
