Snapshot a Day (4/4) & Flashback Friday!

Happy Friday everyone! I hope the sun is shining and you are able to sit back, relax, and soak up your day.

If you have snaps for today, this week, or whenever ... I invite you to share them here!

Best,

Happy Friday, indeed! I may be back with a snap later, but for now here are some FBF pics.

We went to DH's work the other day. He works in agricultural research, as a lab technician; but his work often involves being out in the field taking soil samples and collecting gas emissions from soil and stuff. So the kids think of him as a 'farmer' as he's so often 'in the field', but this time they got to see a little better what it was all about. It was fun for them to see!

This is a shot of the setup for his current trial, which took massive overtime and weekend hours to set up!!!

It was our anniversary this week, and DH got me this bouquet:
Anniversary Flowers

I did a better edit of that one shot I posted the other day, plus here's one more.

That's great that the kids got to see exactly what Anthony does Smile And those flowers shots are so soft and lovely! Gorgeous!

Some FBF pics from me Smile

I love this series of shots from Jackson's first baseball practice. The friend pointing was deciding who to throw the ball to.

He chose Jackson. I LOVE M's reaction!

But Jackson was quick to console: "It's ok, M. He'll choose you next time!"

From Carson's first practice. Getting some coaching on how to hit from the pitching machine.

He missed, so he hit from the tee instead.

Tracy - it looks like quite a fun outing w/ DH "in the field." LOVE LOVE LOVE your anniversary flowers. Carlos is great about anniversaries, but he doesn't believe in flowers. The last time I got any was our 3rd anniversary (to give you perspective, next month we'll celebrate our 22nd anniversary). Wink

Steph ... that opening series of photos from Jackon's practice is PRICELESS!!!! What a sweet teammate Jackson is being here! All of your boys are growing SO FAST! I haven't had time to post many replies this week, but I LOVE all the shots in the daffodils.

I have a few photos on my camera, but they are likely to stay there at least a few more days. So I'm going to share a few from WAY back.

WHERE did my baby go??? I sure do adore this young man, but I have to admit, my arms are missing that chunky little babe right now. *sigh*

Time to get back to work. Thanks for indulging in my nostalgia.

Woah! That CAN'T be Logan!

Here's my daily shot. We met drew downtown for lunch. Jackson loves watching the trolley.

Oh my, GiGi, where does the time go??!! :-O Wonderful looking back, if bittersweet, I'm sure! I remember the one of Logan in the blue bonnets from 2010. I think that's around the time I started lurking, and I thought what wonderful photos you all took! Still do! Smile

Quick post to add a snap. I have been VERY slow in teaching my kids kitchen skills. I let them measure dry ingredients, and have them help me crack eggs or grease pans, but that's usually it. Today Nora helped with everything we did for this corn muffin recipe and she was so thrilled. She was delighted to have her picture taken doing things she'd not done before!!
