great recap of what looks like a truly LOVELY weekend, Sadie! That last one of your kiddos just makes my heart swell. I can only imagine how you must feel seeing it. Biggrin

I hope everyone here had a wonderful time this weekend and a great Mother's Day as well, surrounded by those you love the most.

I spent most of the day battling a migraine (which is still plaguing me today) but was wonderfully spoiled by my guys. I actually do have some pics and as soon as I get them off the camera, I'll be back to share.

Take care everyone!

Sadie, I love the pictures, but like GiGi, I think that last one is so beautiful. I really feel like you have an amazing ability to get your kids to show their joy and love for one another in front of the camera. It's a gift!

This is a terrible picture, but it's of my family so I love it anyway. We were hiking up the mountain when this fellow from Paris asked me to take his picture, then offered to take ours in the same spot.

It was a long hike up for me, and the kids needed a break a time or two as well...

I will share more on FBF but here are the grizzlies that they've rescued (they were orphaned/abandoned) and are kept on Grouse Mountain in Vancouver.

Look at the teeth!!

Those grizzlies really are HUGE, I must say.

And this is the one of the girl who made me a mommy... and my husband who had an important part in that too. WinkBiggrin

Tracy - O.M.G.! The bear shots are just .... AMAZING! Especially the one where it is roaring/growling/whatever. It gives me the shivers! The b&w of Anthony and Nora is really touching. ((HUGS))

Here are a few from me.

First, Saturday was the end-of-season soccer tournament. Logan's team didn't make it out of the first round, but it was a SERIOUSLY exciting game. Logan's team went down 3-1 in the first half and battled back to a 3-3 tie (Logan had an assist) to send it to penalty kicks.

And here's a shot of us on Mother's Day:

the guys got me the COOLEST tank top - it says "dia de los dead lifts" and has a 45 lb plate decorated like a sugar skull. Biggrin they know me so well! Logan and I look like we both just climbed out of bed, but that is just the ragged kind of day we had. Wink Logan spent the entire day w/ me - we played board games, cuddled on the couch, and just hung out. The only time he left the room w/out me was when he went upstairs to play piano for me - and he made sure the volume was nice and high so I could hear w/out having to climb the stairs (I was feeling *really* bad on Sunday).

Anyway ... despite feeling rained on and run over, it was a good day - a VERY good day.

I'll have to come back later w/ my Monday snap - it's still on the camera. Figures, right?

Best,
GiGi

Grrr, having a lousy time with the boards in Firefox. I had to use another browser to reply, finally!

GiGi, I'm so sorry you were feeling so lousy on Mother's Day! But what an awesome shirt for you. Perfect! I love the pic with Logan!
