Can I just say I hate Mondays. Luckily, we only have a few more left until school is out. I am BEYOND ready. I need summer to get here!
We had a great, but busy weekend! We had graduation Friday night, woke up early Saturday morning to spend time with friends who were camping, then headed to church for a youth function, then back to the campground to spend more time with them. Sunday was church, then another graduation! I am worn out! It was a great weekend though!
Sadie ... your weekend sounds truly wonderful! That's how you recharge, if you ask me. And knowing the end of the school year is coming near has to be quite a motivator for you when things get rough. Your little snuggle buddy is just too cute for words!
As for me ... well ... last week was a bit of a whirlwind to say the least! My dad is doing much better now though. He's home from the hospital. I am beyond thankful for the great care he received at the VA hospital in Houston. Their staff was wonderful and they were even great at keeping me updated on the phone on the days I couldn't get down there to be with him (my brothers are not the best at passing on information).
This weekend was ... well ... a bit of a bummer - both Carlos and I had to work on Saturday. It took most of the afternoon for Carlos to finish and I finished up late at night. Sunday was our 22nd anniversary (whoop!) but we woke to problems from the work Carlos did on Saturday and he ended up having to be in the office for about half of the day. Not the way we had planned the day, but it wasn't too bad.
ANYWAY ... I didn't get any shots over the weekend, but I did manage this one of my hunk of a husband (I married well!) on Monday:
Sadie, that sounds like a busy weekend indeed! Very sweet pic of the 'non-napping' boy.
GiGi, so glad to hear your dad is doing better, and is receiving good care too! Sorry to hear about your anniversary, though. What a bummer. But yes, you married well! Wow, that's a strong husband you have there!
My snap for this day was at the pier at Dash Point, Washington, near where my parents live. I want to try processing this multiple ways, but so far in my playing, this is what I like the best!
