I hope to catch up tomorrow! Weekends are always hard for me to post.
Steph ... I know what you mean, I can hardly get in on the weekend (though I do lurk off and on from my iPad). For me it's just that I spend so much time on the computer during the week that I can barely stand to look at it on the weekend.
Tracy ... I swear, you have the most playful kids EVER! Love this one of Nora, she looks like she's ready to rock out!
As for me ... well, I spent a good deal of the weekend in my garden (pulling all those morning glories that were choking out my Indian Hawthorn bushes), so I didn't take many photos. In fact, all I've got is this (a snap from dinner last night):

Sounds great, GiGi! I'm a low-carber, so a lot of GF food is good for me. Not all of it, as some as a lot of alternative carbs; but some are really great for me too.
Tracy - I started this blog (Mama G's Go-To Meals) to share recipes w/ my mom. The one pictured above is the top post (Tostones).
My mom is considering going low carb, GF and I figured this would be a good way to encourage her. Carlos and I have been on something like the "paleo" diet since May. And we've seen some good results. Hoping to share it w/ my mom.
Anyway ... let me know if you try this recipe - I really love it!
Very cool, GiGi, I'm off to check it out. Nice to find a fellow "paleo" type and check out your recipes too!! LC eating helped me lose 100+ lbs. and it's the only way of eating that seems to really work for me over the long-haul. Carbs do bad things to me, weight-wise and in other ways too.
Add us to the Paleo group! The kids and I still have our dairy and grains, but Drew has gone Paleo. He started with South Beach, and once he started CrossFit, he moved on to Paleo. It's AMAZING how much weight he's lost so far with a good diet and hard work. He's down approx. 35 pounds in 2.5 months. I'm SO proud of him! I'll be sure to share some progress photos of him. Unfortunately, I don't have any from the very beginning besides snaps of him sitting down with the kids.
