Here are some of the snowflake macros I took yesterday. It was fun! After Eva & I had our fill of sledding and playing in the snow, she went in and I snapped a few more shots before it got too dark out. The snow was starting to fall heavier and the flakes just kept getting prettier.
By morning there were a few more inches on top of the 7 inches we'd already gotten this week!
I just walked around and photographed the best flakes I could find. I didn't move them, they would have gotten messed up anyway, but honestly that idea never occurred to me until Sadie mentioned it in the flashback thread! LOL it was challenging finding ones landing on the plants--not to many at all land there.

I just absolutely love these! They're so beautiful that they look almost fake! Great job!
I've already gushed about these on the flashback thread, but I gotta say again how much I love these, Amy!!! They are WONDERFUL.
I love how well you used negative space in so many of these, especially since that is the assignment for this month.
You have such a wonderful eye for this kind of work - I'm SO jealous.

Beautiful pictures thanks for sharing.

Those are FAB! Man....I wish we got snow.
Thank you everyone so much!
Loida, you crack me up!!! I don't mind being out in the cold if it's for a good cause lol, as long as I'm bundled up....and I simply LOVE snow. This week's snow has been so beautiful and fluffy. Everyone else I know in my area has been complaining about it, but I'm out there trudging around in it, walking through it while walking to work, and everything, I just enjoy it.![]()
