Just was playing with edits on my peonies and dandelions last night. I was up till 3am editing a big set of pics from when DH, Eva, and I went to the creek/park last weekend. lol!
And a few from the creek:
Eva didn't really let me get any good poses out of her (or faces)...but I liked the background on this one anyway lol...

I already commented on some of these on flickr, but I will comment again b/c I LOVE these!
1. My fav. Seriously. Great pp, great shot!
2. I *think* I might like this one better in color, do you have it? I still like the pp though.
3. LOVE. Great bokeh, great focus, love it.
4. Maybe I'd like it in color more, but still, great shot.
5. Love the trees to the right. My eyes are drawn straight there, then up to the tops.
6. love the reflecting green off the water.
7. neat shot!
8. cute shot of Eva. She's a doll!
Love love LOVE the second dandelion photo!!! How did you find such a perfect one?! Not a huge fan of the faded processing on the peonies. I want the red to pop and it just doesn't. But, that's just a personal preference.
The creek shots are cool, but I feel like they're over sharpened. The tree shot is cool, what kind is it?
And Eva is just adorable!!

These are really neat, I love the first few, just like art! The first one is cool. I feel like the second one looks more like a drawing, it's just not popping (if that makes sense). But at the same time, it's nice as a print. The third looks so perfect, just don't blow in my yard! ha ha ha Same thoughts on the 4th as the 2nd. That's a pretty creek area. And I love the flower bokeh behind Eva in the last.

Thanks everyone, it's funny, I only sharpened those tree pics once for web just like I do for web on almost all my pics. I guess I didn't need to on those. Jennifer, the tree trunk is a Sycamore--I always love the bark on them.
Here are the original peony pics:
I'd just been playing with Coffeeshop actions on those and it was a version of "vintage blush" that I played with. So they're supposed to be soft/hazy. I do prefer the 1st one's edit because the petals are sharper...but with the originals, I prefer the 2nd one! LOL
