I openly admit that photography has felt like a bit of a chore for the last 6-8 weeks or so. I still picked up my camera everyday thanks to my 365 project. I think I can feel my mojo returning at last! I have willingly picked up my camera and followed my usually uncooperative toddler around twice this week. Rather than post LOTS of individual shots, I made 2 storyboards. Please feel free to CC anything and everything. I really need to push myself back into learning. I can post individual shots of any shots within the storyboards.
Garden Fun: His clothing led me to give these a slight vintage-y feel (I think it was one of the soulful collection actions). I do see the finger chops. One was in camera, the other was where I had to make the shot fit the storyboard
Rainy Days: My first try at mostly editing in Lightroom

Love it Kerry! I especially like the Rainy Day story board, that red raincoat enhances everything!

what fun!!!! and I hear ya on the chore ... I'm not doing P365 next year, it feels too much like work some days.
I actually think I'd like the first one without the vintage processing, I feel like we should really see the bright colors of the slide and his clothes. I love that top left photo, so cute! and I ADORE the rainy day storyboard!!!!!!

Those really are gorgeous!
Kristen, I stumbled across a flickr site with lots of free actions etc here. I think this one was callled everyday vintage - easygoing... or possibly casual, lol! I am pretty sure I tweaked it a bit as well.
Gwen, I said I would not do another 365. It has taught me a lot and I can see my growth, but man, it is time consuming and everyone has periods where they may want to take a little break, even if for a few days. I might consider a 52 week project next year, I think I could manage one good shot a week, lol!
Thanks Sue and everyone! I am totally in love with the rainy day one and am going to have it printed. It was such a joy to shoot those, I just followed his lead and it made for a very relaxing time (I admit, they frustrate me sometimes, lol!)
