Tiny purple flowers
I'm having trouble figuring out which of these works best compositionally. Any thoughts? Other CC and suggestions welcome, as well. And if anyone knows what these are, I'd love to know!

composition-wise, #1 is my favorite. it's a great use of the ROT and with only those 2 small blooms, the green really sets them off.
Il ike #2 a lot as well. But in this case, I prefer the landscape orientation of #1.
#3 is also nice, but the composition of #1 and #2 are more pleasing to me.
TFS, Tracy! These are lovely!
#1 without a question! LOVE IT!
Although I find myself preferring #2, I think I agree #1 works best technically. I love the tiny droplets on the grass too.
I want to say it's Birdseye Speedwell like I photographed last year.....but it may be something a little different in your area of the continent. I will check my field guides when I get home.
My favorite is #2, the orientation is just perfect to show case the height of the grass and flower.
Oh that's so interesting, El, because that's my favourite too, I just didn't realize quite why I preferred it, but you've hit it on the head.
