First of all, Happy Father's Day to all the lovely mamas out there! Some of us are filling in as mom AND dad, and others have a man who fill the role of dad.... whatever the case, this day is about you too! (Gigi, I can't wait to hear how Carlos likes his hat and photos!)
OK, about tonight. I have a fun session tonight, but I am waaaay nervous on a lot of levels.. I am shooting at this AMAZING location that isn't open on Sundays. They normally charge photographers to do shoots there, but since it will be closed the girl at the desk said "no one would know if you came and did photos" especially since this is just for fun and not a money making deal. I am still a little nervous about getting caught and kicked out... The couple I am shooting knows this is the deal and they were willing to take the risk.
The couple are some friends of mine and these will be engagement photos... although she doesn't know it yet He is going to propose during the session!!!!
I will be fighting bright sun and a very fast sunset (goes from full sun to dusk in about 20 minutes or less). I am hoping for firey skies for some silhouettes and scouted ahead of time for some shady pockets.
I am taking my camera (duh) with my nifty fifty (my only lens), a polarizing filter for when it is way bright and reg uv filter for sunset ,my reflector (thinking to use the white or gold sides depending on light), a bouquet of flowers for pics... Am I forgetting something obvious? I am going for lots of PDA shots, the big moment and some fun playful stuff.
AAAHHHH I have never been more nervous about a shoot!!!!!
