I am more active on this board than any of the other boards so I thought I'd bring this up here. Hope you guys don't mind. We are going to London and Paris this summer. Just short trips. I am already planning and making schedules and stuff. There's so much to do omg! I need to figure some things out on my camera. I want to practice in the different modes to see which one I like best. I do not trust myself enough to use just manual especially when going out. I will probably end up using P mode or sometimes auto mode (outdoors since a lot of the places we are going to don't allow flash and i have no idea how to turn flash off while in auto mode) just to take pictures. I am going to be so overwhelmed! ahh! And I am still not sure if I should take my speedlight or not. A lot of places don't allow flash but I might want to take flash photos elsewhere. I don't want to carry around heavy stuff if I'm not going to use it ya know? Any tips on that would be great!!
Anyway, any of you ever traveled with little ones to an all day thing or fun parks or museums or just anything that required you to be out almost all day long? how have your kids handled it? We already have buggies for each kid and they both lean back so if they get tired they can nap. Mikael does well napping in a stroller. We also have a travel crib for Mikael since he still sleeps in one and we didn't want to bug the hotels about it since a lot of the hotels we've looked at don't really offer that. I guess it's smart to take plenty of snacks too huh? I just hope they can handle it all. We'll probably stop by the hotel to drop off stuff/pick stuff up etc. I'm so scared my kids will hate it! lol I know Jeanette will love being out. We will have to take lots of bathroom breaks I think because of J. Or should I put a pullup on her just in case of an accident? Anyway we were planning on going to see Phantom of the Opera in London. But only age 10+ kids are allowed and we planned on staying in a hotel with babysitting services but I have yet to get in touch with the hotel. The people who handle babysitting are not answering!! I'm thinking maybe we should just not watch it and maybe catch it elsewhere (Las Vegas) in the future. I don't know. What do you think? I don't really trust anyone to watch my kids except for those certified to do so and my family. I am a bit disappointed that we might have to cancel but ya'll would do the same thing too right? My kids come first and we'll be having fun doing lots of other things. Like going to an aquarium in London. And the London eye. OH I hope I get some good pictures!
Any tips would be great. tips on photography or traveling with small kids. thanks!
