Default Two for CC please, trying out new lens

I got the 16-35mm and I was trying it out. I really like this lens!
My sister's baby turned one last week and all the balloons were deflated, almost. I was taking some pictures of her kid and mine. Please CC let me know what you think.

I have my speedlight on the whole time and bouncing it on the ceiling.

    Settings for both pictures:
    Exposure: 0.008 sec (1/125)
    Aperture: f/3.5
    Focal Length: 28 mm
    Exposure: 0.00
    ISO Speed: 400

Everyone with their new lenes...SO jealous!

Love the first one. Nice comp. Very crisp, but your stuff always is.

I agree, always so crisp! Wish I had a new lens!

    1) the comp is great here. great catchlights
    2) cute, but not sure about the angle.

cute!!! I'd love to see one with the balloons on a head ... sunken balloons are fun to do that with. great use of the speedlite, and the lens seems sharp.

Cute! Lens looks nice and sharp! The only thing I am not loving is the color of the carpet with the bright festive balloons. But obviously you aren't going to put down new carpet just for a pic right!

This lens, I think has that fisheye effect (somewhat).

The tilt is a bit bothersome I tried to fix it so he is a bit more straight. This is one of those quick shot, since I caught him looking... lol

    Thanks for the CC...

here is my quick fix using flickr since I don't have CS4 here at work.

I really love this lens! That is so cool....you look so far above them. Awesome! I prefer that 2nd image pre re-crop.
