DH and I won a trip to Vegas! I've never been and DH has, and was saying there's so much to see that if I want to do some particular shots (i.e. the fountains at the Bellagio), then I should perhaps make a list of "top places" I'd like to shoot. Have any of you been to Vegas and have any advice for me about great sites to shoot?
I've never been. But congrats! It sounds like fun. :)
Never been but my DH said he loved going out to Hoover Dam, you could probably get some nice shots on the way out too.

DH won it through a local news radio station. He enters a lot of contests and we do win every so often, but nothing this big before! It's a pretty nice deal: our flights, three nights in a 5-star hotel (our room is 920 square feet, and their second best suite in the hotel!) that is central to most of the 'big' things on the strip, a $100 meal voucher for use in the hotel's restaurants, and $500 spending money. We're really excited. We haven't had a true vacation, just the two of us, for about 2.5 years.Quote:

Been there 3 times. The Bellagio fountains are awesome, as is the inside of that hotel. The mile mall is pretty neat too. Freemont Street is awesome at night. I think you could get some really great nighttime images, so I would for sure bring your tripod. I'm super jealous! I would love to go back for a girls trip :)
How fun is that??! I was going to say Bellagio fountains (hands down my favorite thing in Vegas) and the lights on Fremont Street. Just some good old fashioned people watching shots would be good too-some crazy people out there.. ;)
