    Default Very rude photo studio.

So DD2's school had a photographer come in to do their school photos, it was taking a while for the proofs to come in so I figured I would e-mail them about it here is my message and their response. Lets just say I am disappointed at being treated this way and am not going to be supporting this studio.

    Thank You,

This statement from the ***** Montessori website sums things up.
" Children are always given a choice, this level of freedom comes in various degrees depending on the age and situation, but never the less allows the children to be the decision makers in their own lives. "

Not the best outlook when it comes to listening to the photographer on picture day is it ?

I have absoulutly no idea where your daughters retake photos are or when they will be available to you. I have no idea if they were sent to the school or if they are going to be available any time soon.

    Sorry

Wow. I don't believe I have ever read anything so rude coming from a professional establishment. Not only was it rude, it was completely unprovoked! Your email clearly stated that you understood that it wasn't their fault that they couldn't get her pictures the first day. I would certainly share that with your school, so that they discontinue their use of that studio. Their email totally bashes the school as well as your daughter!! Wow. I'm shocked.

BTW, you didn't bleep out the school's name in the studio's email.

Are you kidding me?!?! Why in the WORLD one anyone voice what was said in that e-mail? Does it matter if the kid wouldn't take off his/her hat? The school/photographer offered a retake day, so therefore there shouldn't be an issue of which day the photos were taken.

And then the complete lack of help when it comes to locating the pictures. I bet they didn't even TRY to find out what the issue was...and from the sound if it, isn't going to.

I would take this e-mail to the school official and let my voice be heard about how this 'professional' is treating not only the customer, but the school as well.

I'm just honestly in complete shock that someone would write something like that!

I feel a little dumb now I e-mailed the wrong studio . That said this response was still uncalled for, they could have kindly told me that they were not the ones responsible for my daughter's school photos and left it at that. There are apparently 5 studios in the area with the same name.

Then, if this is a local chain, you need to forward that e-mail you received to the CEO of the entire operation. Regardless of whether that particular studio did or didn't take your daughter's pictures, if they were that rude to you, they will assuredly be rude to other paying customers. The owner of the company needs to be made aware that this one branch is going to tarnish the image of the entire company. I would forward that e-mail to the higher-ups, and then also send it to the school and recommend choosing a different photography company for picture day next year. And, let the CEO know that you're sending the e-mail along to the school, too. Perhaps if he/she thinks this will impact the pocketbook, something will be done about it.

So sorry you had to be on the receiving end of such a horrid e-mail.

wow...seems like someone had a bad day and took it out on emails. Sheesh! I would definitely do something about it though even if it was the wrong studio no one should have been that rude to you.

It is not a chain of studios, there just happens to be several independent studios with the same name. I will definitely advise people not to go to that particular one.

I am still struggling getting proofs from the correct studio, someone lacks organizational skills, not sure if it's the school or the photographer.
