LEARN HOW TO TAKE
Meet our staff photographers and learn from the pros!
Learn how to take better pictures of your friends, family & the world around you
Learn composition and lighting techniques
Learn how to faithfully reproduce the color you capture with your camera onscreen and in your prints
Gain a basic understanding of aperture, shutter speed and ISO to get the correct exposure
Understand the different types of camera shooting modes and file formats
Bring your camera and join award-winning N&O Photographers Scott Sharpe, Chuck Liddy, John Rottet and others in a hands-on photography workshop. It's never been easier or more affordable to take good pictures and to share them!
You'll participate in three 45-minute back-to-back sessions:
#1: Photographing sports -- From kid's soccer to the Olympics
#2: Photographing nature -- Capturing beauty in the world around you
#3: Photographing, friends, family, and strangers -- The engaging portrait
So, does this sound like something I should do? I'm afraid it's going to be very basic. But I think I'm willing to put up with that just to get some contacts with some professionals in my area. Plus, I probably would learn something while I was there.
Personally, if it were offered here, I'd jump on it!
Go, have fun, and meet some folks. Get exposed to a few things you haven't seen/done before and reinforce stuff you already know.
Just my $0.02 worth.
I agree, go for it!

That was the gentle nudge I needed Thanks!
I'd definitely do it! It's well worth $10 to make new contacts and get the chance to take more pics.
