Our local news paper is putting on a photography workshop. It's only $10 for a session from 1:30pm to 5:30pm with the photogs of the paper. Here is a detailed description of the day...

Class Description

Bring your camera and join award-winning N&O Photographers Scott Sharpe, Chuck Liddy, John Rottet and others in a hands-on photography workshop. It's never been easier or more affordable to take good pictures and to share them!

You'll participate in three 45-minute back-to-back sessions:
#1: Photographing sports -- From kid's soccer to the Olympics
#2: Photographing nature -- Capturing beauty in the world around you
#3: Photographing, friends, family, and strangers -- The engaging portrait

So, does this sound like something I should do? I'm afraid it's going to be very basic. But I think I'm willing to put up with that just to get some contacts with some professionals in my area. Plus, I probably would learn something while I was there.

Personally, if it were offered here, I'd jump on it!

Go, have fun, and meet some folks. Get exposed to a few things you haven't seen/done before and reinforce stuff you already know.

I'd definitely do it! It's well worth $10 to make new contacts and get the chance to take more pics.

I would do it!!! And heck, if it is too basic it was only $10. I wish I could find more classes around here.
