    No, but I know about controlled burns as they are used in habitat restoration for fire-dependent ecosystems.

    Cool! My DH is a volunteer FF, seeing that we live in a teeny tiny town and we don't need a paid group. He loves it though. Maybe one of these days I'll get out with the camera.
