Hey everyone! Don't know if you remember me. I seem to take breaks quite often. Usually during the winter though. We don't usually do much in the winter so it can get a bit boring. I have taken a few pictures here and there. But not as many as I would have liked. I'm starting to take more now though and want to concentrate on photography this summer. But these past few months I have been keeping myself busy making miniatures. It's something that I started with last Spring and now I am hooked! I have just recently started to make mini food jewelry. I have so many ideas running through my head with that! But I won't be making miniatures again until Fall. I'd rather spend my time outdoors in this warm weather. Anyway here are a few pictures of things that I've made these past few months. You can see more on my flickr. These ones are viewable to the public since I have my own miniatures blog going on. As well as a photoblog. I love blogging now! I have lots of pics and its hard to choose just a few. And I hope to sell them someday, just as a side thing. BTW these are dollhouse 1/12 size miniatures. I have watermarked them since they are public. I chose the name sunshine for various reasons.
this is how small it is.

gtg pick up my daughter now. Thanks for looking!!
Ohmygosh I LOVE miniatures, and yours are fabulous!!!! When I was in grade school my Mom and I were big into our kit-built dollhouses and realistic miniature furniture, decor, and food for them. We still sometimes go to the local minatures shows sometimes if they happen nearby. We've dabbled in making them ourselves too. My Mom has made some pretty neat foods with Fimo clay!
I love the closeup of your daughter because her eyes are beautiful!
Those are SO cool! I can't wait to check out more of your work!

Oh my, those are the coolest/cutest things I've ever seen! Do you have an etsy shop? Your photos are fabulous of them, so clear and the colors are perfect. You would sell those in a flash! The salsa is definitely my fav.
Glad to see you back and please keep sharing!

thank you! I love photographing my minis! They don't move! lol
I don't have an etsy shop...yet. I am hoping someday I will. Right now I make them for fun and for myself. I'd make them for friends or whoever is interested too but I don't work efficiently enough to sell them on etsy just yet. I craft around my kids so it takes me a good amount of time to make just one thing unfortunately. I get up ALL the time to do this and that. And I have housework and laundry and yadda yadda yadda. I wish I had more time! And right now that it is almost summer I don't make any because I use my oven to harden the pieces of clay and well...living in Norway we don't have A/C (not needed really) so it could get very hot in here just by using the oven. I wish I had a small toaster oven! (they are like $100 here for the cheapest one...but this is a place where they don't even sell crockpots!). Ok rambling sorry. I'd love my own etsy shop though. Someday. In the mean time I'll keep practicing
You sound like me, with all my hobbies that I have to cram in to a couple hours after Eva goes to bed, and sometimes at work haha! I have so many things I want to do creatively and not enough time to do them.
